Are you going through a time of depression or frustration or stress?
Are you in the pit and you can't get out?
Have you given up because it's just too hard to figure out the solution to your situation?
Are you so weak, that you want to give up. Men have gone through such situations, but they depend upon God and His Word.
Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
An example is Hannah who was going through a tough time because she was constantly being provoked by her rival, Peninnah, because she was childless. That was her "tough time". Put yourself in her shoes. Having to go through such a tough time of provocation every day for so many years in your life.
But she never gave up! Because she knew that tough times don't last when you lean on God. She was motivated that there was a God - the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. She made up her mind that she wanted to touch the heart of God to change her situation. She had faith that God - and only God - could do it.
Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith, it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to the house of God, should believe that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." Hannah knew that. And she went into the house of God to seek God.
1 Samuel 1:10 - 11 "And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head."
Hannah believed God, and the Bible said her tough time ended!
I don't know what you're going through. But the Bible said she was able to touch the heart of God with her prayer. And Hannah did not just have a child, she had five children!
I want to help you think like Hannah. Lean on God and seek God. He has the whole world in His hands. He alone can bring an end to your tough times. He alone has the power to show mercy. Your husband will fail you, your wife will fail you. Your children will dissapoint you. Do you know your friends will disappoinht you in tough times? Hannah knew her husband could not help her. And she went to the house of God.
God stretched forth His hand in the Sanctuary. He said, "Come unto me all that are weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest."
I want to encourage you to believe and to know and to accept that tough times don't last. Just begin to say "Thank you Jesus I accept these words, I recieve these words... and I believe these words... that they will work for me. " Hallelujah.

Changing your life begins with changing your mind.

From Apostle JW Sawyerr
Many people are dreaming to re-position themselves, but are not willing to pay the price.
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Numbers 23:19
You need a change of life and a change of your mind. The key is diligently seeking God through the Word. Daniel was a slave in a foreign land, Babylon. He had the privilege in the King’s palace to misuse his life with the Kings food, drinks, and to enjoy food that was sacrificed to idols. But the word says in Daniel 1:8: “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the King’s meat.”
Following the world’s system will defile you and disconnect you from God. Daniel changed his life through changing his mind and God promoted him to be one of the chief Presidents in Babylon. His decision affected the whole of Babylon spiritually.
Purposing in your mind to bring a change will be tantamount to progression in every area of your life. |
